    Your wishlist for BHX

Every time I go Saudi Arabia for Umrah, and it is also every time in December as well on Saudia. I do agree a Saturday service in December would be nice, given every flight is full as well. I was on HZ-ARE last December (17th, also as per my DP), full to the rafters even on my 2nd January flight...

    Your wishlist for BHX

What would you say about Saudia? Do you think that they may do something? Or stay as three weekly?

    Qatar Airways

Would anyone happen to know why the Qatari today was towed to a remote stand? Noticed it on FR24. I wonder if there was any PAX in it? No idea if it went tech, or was just moved to make up space.

    Pakistan International Airlines

PIA has received Third Country Operator Certificate (UK Part TCO) for operating commercial flights to/from UK. They also have received UK ACC3 designation for flying cargo and/or mail into UK as per avpak3 on X as well as historyofpia forum. According to their forum seems like October is when...

    Route Development & Rumours

The rush before summer holidays end, that's a lot of flights! MAN had about 10 flights from Istanbul, including one diversion.

If AJet did do BHX-SAW, Pegasus are in for some good competition.

    Route Development & Rumours

AJet (Or Anadolujet) is owned by Turkish Airlines and since Turkish operate BHX-IST I don’t think so. Maybe Southwind will have a try once again? After all their ban from EU airspace was lifted in December last year, I don’t know about the situation as of now in the UK regarding Southwind...

    Qatar Airways

I’d know I’d sit at 31A on that, just to get a good view of the wing, or 33A.

    Qatar Airways

Q-suite triple 7 I think? The only type that has that would be "77P" according to Aerolopa. configured C42Y312. Interesting nonetheless, nice change from the 788 even if only one off.

    CAA Provisional Statistics Update

Nice loads on Jeddah, given the start of June was when Hajj started for this year, but overall a 62% LF is solid.

As well as nwoody’s Saudia info, greatly appreciated 😌

    CAA Provisional Statistics Update

Found Saudia crew to be a lot more welcoming and kind on my BHX flights compared to Turkish crew I’ll be honest, but I digress. It’s nice to see big load factors on each and every airline that Ben has mentioned 👍

    CAA Provisional Statistics Update

Lucky Turkish pax going on an A330, nice solid load too. I’ve only been on their 737-800 and -900ER from Birmingham in 2017 and 2018. Unfortunately not so much for passengers who missed their connections on Wednesday and early Thursday morning.

    CAA Provisional Statistics Update

Solid for Saudia, same load factors back in December that is when I flew on them. Must be people going for connections as well as not many people terminate in Saudi given the high temperatures, some may do though.

    Saudia

A lot of empty seats on the inbounds I wouldn’t mind moving to actually, for viewing purposes only. This was my seat on the 2nd of Jan (51A). At the time, I was so glad I got this seat for free (would have had to pay a good amount for the exit row seats) as the flight was full to the rafters...

    Saudia

Maybe not the best quality picture, but I just had to go today.

HZ-ARB due in today. Swapped out from HZ-ARC.

    Pakistan International Airlines

772 likely, AP-BGK, AP-BHX, AP-BMH are in service alongside 2 77W's (-300ERs) which is AP-BMS & AP-BHV (773 is 777-300 Classic, PIA doesn't have any.) We won't see any of the 77L's, considering AP-BGY is being worked nonstop on the YYZ routes. AP-BGZ well, inactive.

    Birmingham Airport - Picture Thread

HZ-AR22 still looks good for a 7 year old airframe huh? I wonder when they'll actually start to apply the retro now current livery on their 789s like what they did with HZ-ARB (albeit that was for the 94th National Day Livery...).

The Saudi pilot was very nice for waving! Nice shot on the EK too. Have you got anymore Saudia shots? Always keen to see some as SV is now my favourite airline at BHX.
