So you can still get to security from the Jet2 end? That’s good to know as I thought that had all been closed off and you had to join the queues to go up in the elevators? How do you enter security coming from that side?
As has already been pointed out your assessment is wrong. While MAN is undoubtedly their biggest base it’s probably a toss up next between BHX and STN where the new destinations are started first.
I really don’t understand why you have to bring up MAN everytime you reply in the BHX thread but that aside I think SeanM was asking where Jet2 as a company as a whole goes in the future rather than specific airports. There are only a few routes that aren’t served from BHX which may or may not...
Flying with Jet2 this year so curious how this works? Is it connected to the terminal building? There is a similar thing at Dublin for Ryanair and it’s dreadful, once you’re in you can’t get out so if your flight is held up you’re stuck! Only experienced it once and that was more than enough.
With one thing or another I just don’t seem to find the time to post as often as I used too. Sadly my interest in the forums has dwindled a bit lately, I suppose it’s to be expected when there’s not much going on to talk about.
‘IF’ the one airline is what I think it is then I’d imagine a December start would be a reasonable assumption. That would mean an announcement in the spring but you’ll forgive me if I don’t hold my breath. We’ll probably still be having the same endless discussion this time next year.
With all the hints that are being dropped I certainly hope at least one comes to fruitiion.
A regular daily morning service to the Middle East would certainly be good - if Qatar can’t commit then one of EK’s new 787-8s could be perfect.
