Spotting Movements Log & Heads Up

I believe it will be the first EZY 321 at LBA, but correct me if I'm wrong.

Spotting Movements Log & Heads Up

Could we see an EZY A321 operate into LBA tomorrow on the CDG route? (Or is it yet another FR24 error?)

    Runways, Aprons and Taxiways

I think the term "lower the ILS" was probably the cause of the confusion. Lower the localiser structure would have been more accurate.

Rumours, especially LBA rumours, are just that, as far as I'm concerned Fingers crossed for some increase in 321 activities in the coming 18 months.

Could the LS services to Egypt 12 months from now be relevant to this discussion?

    Route Development & Rumours

Maybe EIs strategy is to hedge their bets when it comes to their ATR ops. If we operate 4 daily, we may get at least 2 rotations completed.

EZYs LBA -BFS route now showing as 4 x weekly for the remainder of the year(excluding July/August/November where service is 2 x weekly).

    Ryanair

Yes, indeed LBA is a J2 dominated airport. However, J2 are predominantly a bucket and spade operator whereas FR and U2 offer much more in the way of city routes, currently underserved from LBA.

    easyJet

I have previously commented on the non existent Easy jet advertising in respect of advertising hoardings at LBA which I find quite baffling for a relatively new operator the airport is seemingly keen to keep. Plenty of Jet 2 and TUI visibility.

It's all gone very quiet on the 'base' front.....
