Given the fact that taxiway has been complete for a few months now and the lighting is installed, I fail to see how it won’t be ready in tandem with the rest of the dual taxiway system?!
Thanks for the info.
I stand corrected then! It was only 2 weeks ago I went past whilst on a flight with...
Why shouldn’t it?! This is part of the dual taxiway system and the NOTAM ending on (hopefully) 27th November shows this system will be in place after that date.
I believe when this NOTMA finishes on 27th November the dual taxiway system will be fully operational. I believe the lights are already installed but testing and commissioning is now taking place, both with the airfield teams and the CAA which have to sign everything off as the regulator.
Watching a live stream on you tube this morning looks like stands 29 & 31 not yet reconfigured?
On another note when observing FR24 it looks like a section of the new dual taxiway is in operation around where stands 65/66 were…
Further airline moves to T2 in the latest announcement on the airport’s website.
However, Etihad, Turkish and Emirates are missing from that list…

What is going on with this forum and the amount of adverts?! It’s become so difficult and messy to navigate with the screen area becoming smaller due to adverts in your face at every opportunity!
It takes much longer to both read and respond to threads due to these (in my opinion) over zealous...
It’s already been mentioned on this forum that most airlines will share Pier C. There is no special treatment and why should there be!
EasyJet aircraft will be spread across the T2 stands, whether it be Pier 1, 2, legacy T2, remotes or Pier C.
Ah I see…I haven’t seen it myself, just what I was informed.
That would be better than having to enter and exit the pier via lifts/stairs, but it sounds like the plan is to enter pier C and board via a jet bridge.
Couldn’t agree more! No pride anymore!
If the plan is to continue using the...
Thanks for your trip report.
Departures B has been occupied by EasyJet for a few years now, I have flown with them about 3/4 times since they moved downstairs around 2022/2023.
The gates in pier C are being refurbished, the first was gate 27, which was probably further up so you maybe didn’t...
Does anyone know if arrivals onto T3 stands 42 & 43 are bussed into T3 or is there an internal route to immigration?
I know for departures you have that long windowless corridor, but how does it work for international arrivals now these stands are used by only Ryanair.
Passengers for Ryanair shouldn’t be going any further than beyond the duty free. Signs are in place to turn left after duty free towards T3 via the southern front corridor.
Of course it’s inevitable that some passengers will miss this info and continue into T1 departures area.
Had a quick nosey on both level 13 of T1 MSCP and the T2 MSCP yesterday and noticed a Hainan A330 on stand 207 (I think) so nice to see widebody’s now using the new pier.
I noticed a TUI 787-9 on 61C in the new configuration (slightly angled to the right rather than a straight line onto stand)...
Just used T3 check in and security for the last time, as much as the check in area for Ryanair is bright and adequate, security certainly isn’t and I won’t miss that! Got to a long queue in lane 14 only for the machine to have a meltdown and the rejection rate at 37%!
Got moved to lane 13 where...
Thanks for the info.
I’m sure Etihad had their own lounge in T1 until Covid…I stand to be corrected on that though…
The Emirates lounge will be ready by March next year apparently…
It is definitely temporary as also confirmed by the MD a few days ago in the MACC meeting.
I think they have had to move due to the domestic arrivals route not being ready until after the deadline for T3 check in and security to close, as Ryanair will move to T1 departures for check in and...
