I would like to book a lounge in T3 on 31/12 so hoping MAN keep the current T1 lounges open so therefore they become available for T3 (Ryanair) customers 🤞
Surprised to see it won’t be until early next year when the sports bar is ready to open, seems like this has been on-going for month already?!

Great trip report and I hope you both enjoyed Berlin, it's a beautiful city.
You were flying on a standard 737-800NG (EI-DCZ) not a MAX, it is actually one of the oldest aircraft in Ryanair's fleet! No doubt she has many more years left in her yet, given Ryanair's excellent standards of safety...
I believe it was stated as 19th October in a phased opening with the odd numbered stands first (I stand to be corrected though, as this date might have changed).
Thanks for the info and great news! It seems pier 2 has taken much longer to complete when compared to pier 1, but it is what it is.

Question is how will passengers enter pier C from the outside?
Thanks a lot @Scottie Dog for the feedback.
I departed T3 on Monday morning an efficient experience at security despite it being busy at 4.45am, my last summer trip through T3 so hopefully next time there will be more room from the future improvements project.
No doubt the stand 12 double airbridge will eventually go.
As for pier C, yes they will be kept.
It’s already been discussed on here that pier C will technically become part of T2 although not physically connected, so it sounds like passengers will depart from the pier C gates and therefore...
I had wondered that myself to be honest, but given these stands will become unusable when pier 3 is eventually constructed, I don’t think there will be justification for such replacements.
Arrived into T3 this morning at 10.20am, parked at stand 52, straight off and into passport control with no queue at all despite another Ryanair flight landing just before us.
Baggage reclaim busy with only 2 flights collecting luggage and only 3 carousel’s!
But again, only the 1 out of the 2...
