    easyJet

Having been messed around countless times by FlyMayBe, I would much prefer a reliable service. The Dash-8 rubbish doesn’t wash either as I have mostly flown on Embraer’s with them.

Flying from Brum? Tell us where you're going

Off to Ireland via Dublin / Ryanair at the end of August. Luckily, the strikes finish just before our outbound and the day before our return flight.

LOL, As an IT consultant, I used to go to exhibitions and question the salesmen about the products they were hawking. They were either tap dancers of the ilk of Fred Astaire, or downright rude. Either way, they didn't "win" the sale.:)

    Birmingham Airport - General Thread

And the last time I went past the old Croydon airport, it looked in very good nick as the entrance to a business park. I remember going to a wedding there as a child and the view over the balcony on a summer night was magnificent. Just a pity there wouldn't be a lot of business to convert it...

Flying from Brum? Tell us where you're going

If you decide on Kefalonia, consider Fiskardo in the north. It's the only part which wasn't destroyed by the earthquake in the 50's. Lovely place.

One recommendation Ray, get on the boat to Puerto Rico or Arguineguin when the jumble sale (market) hits town.

Birmingham Airport's Self Service Bag Drop reaches one millionth passenger milestone

They’re off repairing a couple of machines. Having used Aer Lingus at both Birmingham and Dublin, I’m surprised there is still a staff member at bag drop at Birmingham.

Going out to Malaga on 17th April on Jet2. Also booked a couple of weeks in Paxos in June via Corfu with Thos Cook.

Flying from Brum? Tell us where you're going

There is a foul water pumping station underground, which kicks off at about 5. You definitely do not want to be eating at that time.

Flying from Brum? Tell us where you're going

Lovely place Ray, Just don’t eat at the the restaurants by the bridge on the beach at about 5 o’clock. Apart from that, perfect spot for a break.

That’s bad news, but a relief as far as EDITED is concerned.
