The smell of delicious kerosene...you are 100% right. Every night at some silly hour a turboprop what not goes over our house in Essex from Katsruhle in Germany to Dublin. It is the only daily aircraft I here.
Having said that the Red Arrows in three groups of three from Soufend to Headcorn...
I have noticed recently from FR24 that it is now frequently showing the numbers of movements for BHX in the upper 50s or lower 60s. This may include those annoying ground vehicles they show, which I cannot seem to turn off, but nonetheless, it was mainly peaking at lower to mid 50s this time...
I think if you took all visits since CPAir way back when, you would not be that far off the last year. They remain the King of the skies. Those Airbus giants are pants by comparison. Will the 380 airframe still be flying nearly 60 years after the first flight?
In amongst all of the chaos wars and sadness in the world, HPSauce your daily posts on a silkway or Maersk cargo flight is more than welcomed. Thank you.

I was only disappointed as I predicted 14.1 m this year based on an over 10% increase....ever the optimist. April will catch us up a bit as Ian's figures are suggesting. Just need a bumper summer.
So close to 13 million March to March - 12.995 m. Market share at 4.4 % up from 4.2% in March 2024. But the increase was only 4% ummm.

Love the we believe in being second best bit. That's us!
I can feel that warm glow building up again. The sound, the smell, the excitement ... Real planes in them days. I think the old terminal would make great visitors centre - the National Museum of Civil Aviation with an on the hour real vanguard start up. A fresh breath of cerosene. Come on Mr...
I cannot see the US market improving. when Trump goes by whatever means, traffic will return...and I keep saying it, Americans use American airlines, and if there is no demand for the midlands then they will not fly here. Whilst Europeans are cancelling US holidays in droves, so are Americans to...
