My first observation, last Saturday, of the new arrangements and I would imagine the airlines aren't very happy with the increase in taxying and extra fuel costs.
I don't think that they will get Ryanair to move over!
I was there on Saturday but had to take my (not as good) picture from the top of the multi-storey car park.
The other problem was that the Qatar A350 parked at the end of what I know as pier C, blocked what would have been a good photo view.
When it comes to data analysis, the CAA are "not very good" to put it politely. Their publication target is at least 6 weeks after the end of the month and they haven't even managed that this month. They should have been out on Monday
Sixty movements over the summer at 2 flights/week, indicates a season of 15 weeks. It could be Spring Bank Holiday to first week in September, so better get it on sale!
I remember when they were applying to extend the runway "years ago". They interviewed a lady who had moved to a house on Scotland Lane recently and said "when we came to look round the house there weren't any movements, so we thought it would be quiet".
Shouldn't you check the area before you move?
The arrival process was the same as when I arrived from AGP in January. Only change I noted on way out was the entrance to Terminal extension, as mentioned in my previous post
