My latest trip with them (June 2025) was delayed over 3 hrs. My previous trip (October 2023) was delayed 2hrs. Once on board the service was OK, but if I used them more often, I may have to have a rethink.
@LBAYORKIE , if you will give me £60 to drive over from the East Coast, then I will attend and support the airport. Otherwise, I will carry on supporting the airport by using it.
I don't think that there is a problem with the "3 drink rule" because of the disruption it could cause on board an airplane later.
If you are in a pub and you have too much to drink and you become disruptive, it is relatively easy to kick you out of the pub. Not easy in a thin tube at 35000ft...
Why is everybody getting uptight about the age of aircraft at LBA? As long as they are maintained correctly and look good inside, the normal Jet2 customer is happy. There are a lot more normal Jet2 customers than people who read this thread.
