I looked at the travel agents window today. Jet2 seem to be discounting late bookings very heavily. By late I mean within the next 2-3 weeks. One week all inclusive in Marrakech for £520! It looks like the days of late booking and the last minute bargains are back.

I think the idea is to have the Parkway much closer to Horsforth, maybe making Horsforth station redundant. Sounds like a negative thing to me but VH seemed happy about it.

Thats a terrible load factor.

They were, their policy is to get the best price for each seat sold which means the aircraft are less full. If they reduced their prices they would be likely to have better load factors, but overall yield is less.

They trimmed back the offering compared to the old Yorkshire lounge as it wasnt making any money. The other lounge (681) however is a significant improvement on the Yorkshire lounge. It costs more but comes highly recommended. There was a good review on here recently for the Avro lounge but...

I agree, one flight a week must be justifiable and if not MUC would do.

I p I personally think its strange how infrequent the flights to Salzburg are. I much prefer Austrian resorts over Switzerland, and theyve definitley got much more charm than France. I would have thought 2 flights a week or a much longer 'season' would be justified. Its a pain being restricted...

FR24 showed it as LGW-LBA plus it flew up to Derby before doubling back. Unlikely it would do that if it it was just positioning to STN. It is anomalous though as Im sure it was originally planned to depart later in the afternoon from LTN.

Except the exchange rate is better now than it has been for years and I think this is going to be a significant factor which will boost tourism from the UK, or at least act as a mitigating factor. For the same reason we will see less US citizens coming to the UK. I'm with you but most people...
