Thry They hold long haul flights for late connections but I've never heard of holding them on short haul. So not just KLM policy. If you take a conbecting flight its just one of the risks you run.

The news of flights to Egypt is as nothing compared to the budget bombshell that airports are to have their rates bill doubled. If the airport is to survive I think we will see hikes in all charges, including drop off and parking.
