Just watching some of the footage from Airport Action, and it shows the ROM Cargo...
I've been trying to use '+Multi-Quote', to quote from one thread to another (which I've done successfully before), however when I select 'Insert Quotes...', I end up with a quote from about four posts previous to that which I want to quote.
FR24 is showing Fly4 B737-800 (EI-FFB, FFA002P), due from BRU at 08:33. No departure from BHX showing.
National B747-400F (N729CA, NCR535) due at 10:25 form Muscat (MCT), originating form HKG. No out bound from BHX showing.
Also, 2Excel B737-700 (G-NEWG, BRO929P), due from STN at 13:19...
As I said, no-one is discussing a future runway extension (there is absolutely no need). We are discussing whether the current runway extension is now paying back it's construction costs, with the extra long haul cargo services that are operating. The runway is now 3,052m (10,013ft) long and I...
I think he means 'turmoil', not 'term oil', but I still don't understand what he is referring to. Maybe, he will give us a more detailed explanation.
Also, I don't see why discussing the runway extension is 'ridiculous'. We are not discussing a future runway extension (not needed), but the...
Firstly, I fully support BHX having a 10.000ft/3,000m runway. As for the B747-400F's departing, were they loaded? The flights from HKG to BHX have intermediate stops and are at a relatively low altitude (below FL300), which would indicate a heavy load.
Likewise, the Korean B777, brought staff...
FR24is showing TUI B788 ((G-TUIF, BY483) due from Columbo (CMB), STA 22:45, ETA 23:36), having departed to CMB yesterday. Is this new, or a one-ioff?
Also, FR24 is showing Luxwing DHC-8 (9H-LWB) as operating Aurigny 706/707 from/to GCI tomorrow. STA 15:15, STD 16:05.
Looking at the Silkway B747-400F routing on FR24, it doesn't operate from HKG. It's trevious routings were Baku (GYD) - Milam (MXP0 - Baku (GYD, before operating GYD - BHX - GYD. I'd just assumed that it was another flight from HKG, via GYD.
And, if their last two summer seasons at BHX are anything to go by, Jet2 and easyjet provide a more reliable service. Such a shame to see Tui in this position, when they were once such a great airline - Britannia Airways.
