FR24 doesn’t seem to have recorded the TFS-MAN flight as it doesn’t show in LSAG’s history but is showing as on ground in MAN. Shows as having landed under a LPA-MAN flight number. FR24 shows this flight was due to operate on the 16th in the afternoon but no flight was recorded there either.
It appears this winter (starting tomorrow) will see a weekly FUE-BRS-FUE flight. G-TAWX looks to be positioning NCL-FUE now in preparation for this. There did appear to be a gap on Saturdays for the TFS-based aircraft so I can only assume this will position from TFS-FUE on Saturdays to operate...
Yes, the same has happened again. Despite the EXT-FAO being scheduled for a 07:30 departure, G-FDZR only left BRS for EXT at 09:30, meaning the FAO flight didn't leave EXT until after 10:50.
Unless they position in another aircraft for this afternoon's ACE flight, the same thing may well happen...
For the second night in a row, TUI’s late night (early hours of morning) arrivals into EXT have been diverted to BRS. Tuesday’s TFS (arriving 01:35 on Wed) wasn’t late so must’ve been down to weather. Rather than positioning the affected aircraft from BRS-EXT, TUI decided to use the aircraft at...
I agree that they often don’t show much interest in LBA (as shown in constant Sunwing base and ultimately base closure), however they have operated all of their planned cruise flights from LBA this summer.
G-FDZX, which was idle at BRS yesterday morning before heading out on time to CFU in the afternoon, has not returned to BRS and is still in CFU now. G-TAWG operated DUB-LGW-CFU-BRS-BHX, requiring G-TAWC to operate MAN-DUB. This is all looking rather expensive.
Some pretty bad TUI delays at BRS. G-OOBF went down to ACE yesterday afternoon but didn’t return. G-BYAY had to position in from MAN to cover today's 757 flights. However, G-FDZX didn’t move this morning but went out to CFU early afternoon, meaning the morning MAH will be 13.5-14 hours late at...
The post on the other forum (presumably edited) now reads:
Bristol - Reykjavik Eff 26Jan20 - 04Mar20 2x weeky B737-800
Having checked Routesonline, I can confirm that these match.
In my experience, FR generally doesn’t have the positioning flights for fuel scheduled in. So the aircraft would leave BRS as BRS-CUN even if TUI have planned to go via another airport. This will thus show diverted.
Just for fuel I’d imagine (or possibly tech/medical but the routing suggests it was always going there), I don’t believe there was a TUI GLA-CUN scheduled today.
