The Lufthansa website has now been updated and re-introduced 3x daily from 1st June (was originally off sale until 1st July) but stull showing flights as CityLine CRJs??

I imagine the cost and availability of aviation fuel is likely the biggest factors, not the direct conflict itself.

The sooner this ordeal is over the better, but for the foreseeable i can imagine much of the same continuing until a resolution is found! - Conflict in India/Pakistan - Air India Crash - Iran Crisis It would be nice to have a boring and uneventful 12 month period at some point!

And with Pakistan being one of the most heavily impacted countries with the current fuel crisis, i cant imagine any airline there making any decisions in the near future.

to back what @IanFarquharson says, current pax figures don't suggest that. Marcg'26 looking to have pax figs up circa 3% making it a March record and that with nearly zero QR flights and the number of EK flights more than halved! hopefully with QR restarting next month, SV increasing to 4x...

If it was any other part of the world I would be a lot more concerned, but to countries like the UAE and Qatar, tourism and their respective airlines are too important to their economies. Once restrictions are lifted - which certainly isn't known at the moment, I suspect the like of QR, EK, EY...

Will already be by far their largest ever summer schedule from BHX. Suspect no more new routes at this late stage, and more increases in capacity potentially... but you never know!

This is not a decease. BHX-ATQ has ben 3x weekly since June 2025.... And is actually an increase on Winter 2025 as these flights will be operated by larger 77W rather than the 788's operated last winter!
