    Vueling Champions League flights

It was a full compliment of based aircraft. 2BMI north side the other 3 were parked south side and towed over as the day went on. 3EZY on the new stands. 37-39, plus 2 parked in the cup-de-sac the towed to stands when free. When the 3 wide body's were on the ground the 787 parked as usual on...

Sorry yes 37-39, it was late when I posted. Stand 37 is under the same curfew as stands 34-36 can be used 0700-2300 Stands 38-39 have a 24/7 curfew, aircraft can only be towed on/off the stands with no Engines or APU's running. Passengers can board aircraft but not de-board.

The new stands 27,28,29 are now operational, stands 28,29 are tow/push on/off. Some other regs with these stands as well that to be honest are a bit odd!

Yesterday/today's TOM SFB-BRS returned to SFB. Looks like it went out the Atlantic then turned back SFB. Not 100% sure of the reason.

Some wdiebody aircraft planned for the Saturday. Will be interesting with TOM's 787 on the ground as well.

    Movements, Logs & Head Up

If you see an EZY,TOM or BMI use flight number 9xxx it will be an empty positioning aircraft. Except for EZY if the flight was delayed to the next day and returning with passengers for example, U26268 PRG-BRS it will operate as the U29268. FR normally use a low 0-20 flight number or just a call...

Weather & Technical Diversions, Delays & Cancellations

It was a Cruise flight. @TLY when you see "By Road" the passengers for outbound flight are being transported to the diversion airport by coach or taxi, the website doesn't display the full message that is showing on the information boards in the terminal.

    WOW Air

WOW almost operated the A330 a few months back when they had issues, however on that occasion they chartered in a Titan aircraft to minimise the delay. but on the current rotations the loads are enough for the A320, but they are switching to an A321 fleet, and only have 2 A320's in the fleet. I...

    WOW Air

Just to add to the A330-300 debate, the BH flights are sold at 320 loads hence the light pax load for the 330 every week, it was planned for the 320 but swapped the night before to the 330. As TLY has said the A330-300 can do Florida non stop from BRS, when FC operated the 767-300 it never...

    easyJet

It will be 14 based aircraft next year and 15 in 2018, with regards to flex in the schedule your be amazed what the guy's and girls do to try and minimise disruption swapping aircraft around. The airport was maxed out on number of occasions over the summer, but that was mainly due to tech...

    Bristol Airport - General Thread

BRS has NO cargo facility's and has no plans to offer such facilities. The only "cargo" carried is company mail (COMAIL) and aircraft parts (AOG), all these fall in a different category due to not generatin revenue for the airline. With regards to infrastructure the 3 new western stand...

They would but airline politics came in to play. We're have to see what happens in 2019!

    TUI Airways

I think you have guessed correct, from what I know the A330 can do Orlando/ Cancun direct from BRS. Overall the A332 is not much bigger than the 787-8 also efficiency wise there's not a huge difference between them, after all the 787 is still a fat overweight plastic pig!
