    Route Development & Rumours

We definitely won’t see any Middle East announcements. Ryanair well definitely be making an announcement soon, They already moved flights around and Ryanair CEO Eddie Wilson is rumoured to be in BHX within the next 2 weeks but this could be for the roadshow on 10th October. Nothing currently...

    TUI Airways

Definitely get the impression they just gave up on UK. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone doesn’t try to buy the UK arm in the future.

Nope extra frequencies on existing route. Maybe in the winter we could have flights to connect the river cruises but looks like MAN and LGW got it covered for now

They not short of aircraft, they have the right balance for both seasons and they obviously think it’s cheaper to use extra AMCI/wet lease aircraft for the summer season and hopefully in 2025 they finally get delivery of the max 10. As for 2026 maybe 1 additional based unit

Birmingham is going to need more stands in 2026 surely if all the growth continues 😃 at the moment in 2026 we might have 18 LS aircraft ,11 or 12 BY ,10 FR and EZY 5 aircraft plus the night stopping from LH,KL and AF

Loads are one thing, but are they also making money from the ancillaries because from what I’ve been told by crew operating the flights the onboard targets are not even close to being met with the target normal in the 2-3 thousand range, you can make that on a BCN even on a DUB which has a lower...

Depends where the 2 extra 800 (Summer 2025 6 800 and 3 8200 ) were coming from… if from a downsized base or closure it should be fine but if they were meant to be coming due to being replaced by 8200 it will probably will have a knock on effect unfortunately.

So with the 737 line now suspended due to strikes could this mean the expansion could be delayed?? https://fortune.com/2024/09/25/boeing-737-production-halted-stopped/

To be honest it’s the only thing it can be, they launched Birmingham,Alicante and Southend without a massive deal like they doing now there no new bases in 2025 part from SEN at the moment. If it’s not the website it’ll be an partnership of some kind.

    Ryanair

For some yeah but on some like Tuesday morning both have to fit a block time of around 5;10 hours give or take so it must have a flight time that’s 4;45 hours between both flights Example BHX- RZE 2:35-2:45=5:20 flight time + 25 minutes turnaround = 5:45 hours BHX- WMI...

    Ryanair

It’s a little hard to predict They got Spain nearly complete part from Mahon and northern part , same as Portugal everything is covered part from the islands, France could do with more destinations but will they because it’s expensive. Central Europe we only have the Polish, Berlin and...

    Ryanair

Yeah there’s no harm in trying. I would suggest going through a few airport that Ryanair operates for example LTN airport focuses more on Eastern Europe and Italy compared to BHX and EMA which are more city and beach

    easyJet

It’s honestly is , But everyone at Easyjet said they messed up not opening a base here earlier when Monarch and Thomas cook went bust and Jet2 moved in everyone feels the company is 2 steps behind everyone else.
