Just being reported that 2 of the CLEUDS have been rejected by LCC. What does this mean?

With Jet 2 being based at LBA and offices in Leeds City Centre, I can't see how they would want to move from their HQ base.

Fantastic to see this development finally getting off the ground. Flew in from AGP on Sat night, and so many people complaining about the broken escalator and having to use the steps heading into arrivals, and how tired the airport looked.

Working in PR and marketing, and having been involved with marketing airports in years gone by, I have to say LBA really have not got their act together when it comes to positive PR stories. As DSA continues to get high profile publicity and positive news stories even though we know the chances...

We all have a right to question unbalanced reporting, especially from the BBC. I still think we should write to Look Norths editor and tell them how they are demonising LBA, and yet sing the praises of DSA which probably will never see the light of day again. This is a very credible forum, so...

Couldn't believe I was reading this on Leeds Live today.....at last I thought some positive reporting from what I normally call Leeds Dead, but as ever, they had to get the dig in on 30% of flights delayed...

When do we think the plans and visuals will be released for the world to see? Looking forward to seeing what the new extension will look like, and hopefully a fly though video etc

So travelled from LBA last year and I think we went from stand 10...anyway had to walk way down the bus shelter structure to what can only be described as a portacabin before boarding. I take it stands like this are being developed properly with the new plans as it was very embarrassing...

Fantastic report WH.....and since the bad news of the new terminal not progressing, it feels like the present terminal with extension will do the job just fine and should deliver a much better passenger experience with such enhanced facilities. Can't wait to see the pics

Well LCC/WYCA need to get a move on and get the parkway station moving, especially as LBA pax stats are growing all the time now

So totally bias reporting which the BBC shout out they don't do!! Surely we should be questioning the editorial team for an explanation, and it might hold more weight as a collective rather than an individual.

I just don't get why LN should hate LBA and love Doncaster...could it be, a lot of their staff live in NW Leeds? Surely opening Doncaster again will be bad for the environment there, but they never question that

Why has the LBA PR team not responded to these utter rubbish claims from the YEP. Surely the airport has to stop such bias reporting. Just wait until Mondays Look North, they will do their totally bias coverage of this too.
