Thought I would add to the BA topic! Found out today that a few representatives from BA are in Leeds on Friday 3rd December. Not sure whether or not they will be at the airport but could this be the signs of things to come or just a coincidence? Anyone else heard anything special happening...

Rhinocrazy would you not fly from where the flights are cheapest? I know i would and the Ryanair flights aout of LBA were probably the cheapest.

LBA has suffered this before in the past. It sometimes seems as though the LBA service is only operated half heartedly!

The 763 did make it non stop to Barbados last year. Not sure how many times or how many passengers it had on board.

Re: KLM cityhopper B.V Good news. Very surprised we still haven't had an upgrade especially on the night stopping aircraft as the first rotation from LBA is often full. Maybe if we have another bad winter with low visibilty we'll start to see the Embraer! Wishful thinking.

The Easyjet flights to LBA this Winter will opperate on UK registered aircraft and not the Swiss Easyjet aircraft.

Didn't Thomson manage to get the 767 direct from LBA to Barbados even without the addition of the winglets? I'm sure they did. Shame a couple of the flights aren't being operated by TCX like last year to give us a bit of variety.

There are quite a lot of Yorkshire folk who have second homes in IOM and it is a popular walking destination. I am sure a larger and more well known airline could do better than Manx 2 although from memory there have been quite a few opperators on this route. Knight Air, British Airways...
