That will have been Jet2's latest 737 G-GDFA. Still carrying its old livery however but now has red engines and Jet2 titles on it.

The comments above are very much in line with my post just now in the LBA general thread. 15 minutes to get through fast track this morning! Not good and it did appear as though it is that the airport cannot handle the volume of passengers passing through it. Role on the expansion!

No problem White Heather. Going back now to the passengers experience of LBA I travelled through LBA this morning and how much bussier is it already now than it was last summer!! I paid extra to travel through Fast Track Security and that wasn't fast at all as all the regular travellers now...

Biggest problem for LBA in gaining daily NYC flights is the proximity of MAN. MAN have nearly all of the big American carriers serving NYC - Delta, American and Continental. A daily NYC by a UK airline without any connections at the otherside of the pond couldn't sustain its self. Best hope...

I believe that the Dash 8 in question is G-JEDP. This wears the eco livery promoting the good fuel economics of Flybe's fleet of Dash 8's and ERJ190's. Funny though that because of all the extra paint on this aircraft it is actually Flybe's least environmentaly friendly Dash 8's!!

As previously mentioned the 777 will eventually show up at LBA its just a case of when. I'm not saying it will be in the next couple of months but one day you may well be surprised that a 777 turns up as opposed to the A310 without us all being aware until it lands!! LBA management and various...

I think we are all dreaming a little too much about long haul operations by the charter airlines. Personally all I can see ever happening in the near future would be the return of a based TOM 737 for European destinations, an increase of the TCX aircraft to an A321 or 757. LBA is too close to...

Lets hope that all these seat allocations to Jet2 don't kill off the based TCX unit. Its not that long ago that TCX were looking into two based units for LBA operations.

Is this flight still operated by the A310 or has it been scaled down so that it is operated by a 777? I have just been on the PIA website and just by putting in some random dates throughout April, May and June it appears that all outbound flights are unavailable - does this mean they are full...

All these seat allocations for Jet 2 must be good for Jet 2. Those 767's sound as though they are much needed now up at LBA if they are selling seat only, TCX holidays and Jet 2 holidays.

Both the Tuesday and Thursday Antalya flights are being operated by the based TCX aircraft. Does this mean that another route will be handed over to Jet 2? Does anyone know how many flights are being operated by Jet 2 next summer for TCX (seat allocation).

I thought the current based A320 was already busy and didn't have any spare time for extra rotations. Is the extra Antalya flight using a none based aircraft? All these extra flights could well mean an extra aircraft from Thomas Cook in Summer 2011!

Re: re: leedsbradfordairport.co.uk If it is a 767 operating on the DLM route on either the Monday or Friday flights then it can't be operating on a W pattern as the timings on the Thomas Cook website are showing as a based aircraft at LBA. TCX cannot be changing from an A320 to a 767 at LBA...

Re: re: leedsbradfordairport.co.uk I have just been trying to find out information regarding 767 ops next summer and I can only find that a 767 is operating into HUY on Mondays from Dalaman and Antalya with a 757 but not LBA.
