    Qatar Airways

Looked at getting to Baku for the F1 last year. It’s a real pig of a journey, I think there was one direct flight a day from London so the price was through the roof. Good that Qatar are putting you up for the night. Is that on an economy ticket?

    Cardiff: Route Development & Rumours

I’m not sure about krakow but bmi did fly to Gdansk. I’m sure there was an Isle of Man flight and Guernsey needs adding also.

Colleague and I have done many 40 min connections with I would guess a 50/50 bag transfer success rate. We now try and pack carry on only.

Surprisingly good report for wales online.

    Loganair

I have been on their 145’s a few times. They seemed to still have the BMI seats in them with just a tartan head rest cover. The great thing on the 145 is to get an “A” seat so you can sit on your own giving the feeling of more space.

    Random Stuff!!

The planned Dinas Powes bypass needs to happen also as that would make a massive difference in travel time between the airport and the city.

There are liveries for buzz and Malta air but if they ever get painted is another thing. https://assets-airlinersde.netdna-ssl.com/2019/06/malta_c6317861542d5502d198f83365f32850__wide__310

This plane then went tech and currently has a 10 hour delay on it.

    Flybe

Total over the top reporting as usual but I’m not sure the aircraft was on the taxi way. You can clearly see it is on the runway in one of the photos with the fire engine in it. Was it back tracking?

DSG or design service goal on the Airbus single aisle fleet was 48,000 FC. Airbus has competed an ESG or extended service goal on the A320 to 60,000FC where Airbus will support high flight cycle aircraft. Airbus is currently just completing this extension to the A319 also.

TFN was where the pan am and klm 747 crashed into each other in fog. Wasn’t that one of the main reasons TFS was built to take advantage of the better weather!

I have filled in the request form as I have flown 6 times this year. Not sure I can do it though as they haven’t shown the time.

Seems like a good start for the new routes. I guess we will see them in the high 90% during July and August.

    KLM

I have used the new jetbridge at Cardiff when I was on a KLM 737 but never on the e jets. Every time I have flown to a non uk airport on the e jets they have used jetbridges though.

    Random Stuff!!

I am surprised the highwaymen would object to anything meaning the airport could grow as their main source of income seems to come from car parking.

    BH Air/Balkan Holidays

Every airline does if the conditions allow. They would be stupid not to as it saves fuel and engine wear. I think the point of this one is the nose wheel is still down as it passes the touch down point and looks like it lifts off on the piano keys if not a bit later on the displaced threshold.

Just seems common for this aircraft. Another video of it at Newcastle this week using all the runway. Guess they are just using reduced thrust depending on runway length.

    Cardiff: (CWL) - General Thread

That being said I have flown KLM a lot this year and every flight is full of people connecting and very few seem to have Amsterdam as their destination. Part of it is down to travel agents who always seem to default to Gatwick, Heathrow and Manchester and you have to ask for them to look at...
