I drive past the airport every week day and can confirm that most weeks seems to be an enter air parked up in the same place, in fact a few weeks ago there were two side by side on the new stands
It flew all the way back to Bristol, circled, did a go around and then diverted all the way to Cologne, about 4 hours 40 all together.
The FR flight from Poznan had a go around at Bristol, then onto Cardiff for another go around and finally Birmingham, after a couple of hours it left BHX and...
The Antalya repatriation flight this morning was via Glasgow with Jet2 flight from Glasgow to Bristol, Imagine some grumpy folk arriving back into a wet windy Bristol this am.
I agree, people are becoming so selfish today, I heard a woman on the radio saying how disgusted she was and it was unacceptable that her new flight home was to Manchester and then continued by bus to Glasgow. No thought for all those who have lost their jobs or being thankful for a rescue...
Such a sad day, have read that Thomas Cook Cabin Crew are operating on the smartlynx aircraft (voluntary) to bring holiday makers home. I take my hat off to them, absolutely amazing when they’ve just lost their jobs.
Lots of delays this morning due to the french ATC problems with a few cancellations so far:
11:05 EZY6121 Bordeaux
12:20 EZY393 Inverness
12:55 EZY6161 Amsterdam
13:20 EZY6241 Bilbao
Wouldn’t be surprised to see a couple more later on.
I just don’t know what’s wrong with people today, absolutely no respect or thought of what could of happened.
As you say tho impressive turn around by easyJet given the circumstances.
I
Thomas Cook swapped the last of its Uk Reg 757s with Condor for A321s.
I believe Condor still operates a fair number of 757s so I can see the logic.
D-AIAH became G-TCDR, and D-AIAE became G-TCDP and both still have the Condor titles, maybe they will changed over the winter, maybe not...
Normally a 738, G-Tawj arrived back from Faro on time and hasn’t gone anywhere since according to flight radar, however the 789 must of been planned as it arrived before Tawj arrived back and there was no delay to the departure.
Looks like some passengers might be getting an upgrade this afternoon as 787-9 G-tuim has positioned in from gatters.
Nothing looks to be delayed on the departure boards tho so unsure unless it’s a cruise flight?
I live under the flight path in Congresbury and to fair the night noise is not intrusive. The odd one can be loud but you also get used to hearing them.
It’s generally only the first wave of the day that is particularly noticeable as it is one after the other between 6am and 8, again tho only...
Todays United flight to New York was cancelled after the pilots failed a breath test and therefore arrested. Not the first time it’s happened either.
BBC report https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-49222120
Heathrow reportedly to cancel 172 flight on Monday and Tuesday (5th & 6th August) due to around 4000 support staff strike action as the union rejects pay deal.

Last nights BBC Panorama was entitled Boeing’s Killer Plane.
Doesn’t come up with anything we haven’t already heard about the max and Mcas but might be of interest to some on the Iplayer
I believe it’s all or most of the screens again, Check in desks, flight info and boarding gates all announced over the tannoy with extra staff on shift. Fingers crossed it’s a quick fix.
