Sorry to be a dissenting voice here but frankly, your failure to mention anything about how the airport plans to cope with the expected influx of immigrants from the neighbouring rogue state of The Democratic People's Republic of the Black Country is nothing short of negligent. Ay it?
I've read elsewhere that a 321 to Banjul needs the extension, so the same would apply t/a, performance differences between old and new models notwithstanding, of course.
Exactly what I was trying to allude to but much more eloquently stated, the joys of a phone keyboard, a hotel bar in Glasgow and far too much Stella for this stage of the evening.
And, no, I drove...
I didn't read it as a direct comparison with MAN as it is now but as a comparison with BHX now versus MAN as it was "back in the day", when it was handling circa 13m ppa.
From memory, this was mid 90s and it was still light years ahead of BHX now. My opinion only, clearly but I doubt anyone who...
My God, that's hideous!
It must've worked as a piece of publicity though, the image of the grey concrete soulless shitehole is what pervades even now.
Time to move on!
That's a mighty fine question!
I think the general opinion is that there was too much growth too quickly with EK going 3 daily and putting the 380 on in the same time-frame as QR got going. Is there going to be too little now instead?
Not sure personally in the short term but I can see QR maybe...
Great, so now we have to have another sweepstake on the 4th destination!
(Assuming the 3rd is YYZ, of course...)
Also, would a 4th destination imply a 3rd a/c - would have to if more than 1 p/w surely?
