To be honest, I think Southampton Airport would probably just about get away without FlyBe due to the transport connections it has. I would be more concerned about airports, for example, Exeter and Newquay, like @TheLocalYokel said...

I don't understand HS2 getting approved tbh, it is constantly going over budget, and when similar numbers are required to build an alternative line to use in the south-west when Dawlish is closed, that gets declined because it would cost too much...

It's possible you were subscribed while we were testing the new ad-removal subscription service. Further changes are likely to occur at a later date but everyone who has paid for an active subscription should not be seeing any advertisements at all ;)

If they pulled the Newquay-London Heathrow route, then quite simply they'd lose the funding that the government awarded to have the service run, right? I guess also with the impending Flybe rebrand, it's not helping the situation either...

Personally, I don't like one big discussion thread, things start to get messy, especially if multiple news stories/press releases are made at once! One solution could be to post it as a new thread (so it can feature on the homepage) and then in the huge discussion thread, say something like this:
