Tech issue so decided to return to LBA and use B737-800 G-GDFD instead which is what they were meant to originally use but that was also tech this morning but fixed it to do Izmir this afternoon.

It’s being operated by a B737-300 G-GDFL Positions out empty tomorrow at 07:45 as EXS049A and returns as LS6855 at 12:45 There’s also another Jet2 B737-300 G-GDFK positioning down to Bournemouth tomorrow at 11:30 to operate a charter from there and returns back to Leeds on Saturday evening

Jet2 operating an extra flight down to Tenerife today. Using B737-300 G-GDFN LS8290 Thought to be a cover flight for the A330 which has gone tech at Manchester.

There’s also an EasyJet Europe A320 OE-INP positing in From Leeds this evening. Possibly to get more attention (maintenance) as it’s been tech at LBA last few days?

Alpha is open again with stands 5,6 and 7 back in service. Edit- Alpha not fully open as they’ve now moved further up to work on the taxiway around stands 8 and 9 meaning those stands are closed along with taxiway Charlie.

Titan Airways have a charter booked in this weekend on Saturday from Stansted and departs back to Stansted on Sunday Evening A320 G-POWK being used ZT855 from STN arrives 16:00 Saturday and departs to Biggin Hill at 17:30 ZT855 arrives from Biggin Hill 19:00ish and departs to STN at 20:15 Sunday.

B737-300 G-GDFG is down to position to Dublin tomorrow morning for maintenance STC B737-800 G-JZHS is positioning in from Newcastle later on at 20:50.

Loganair have a charter flight booked in this weekend assuming it’s bringing Norwich up for their game against Leeds United on Sunday. LM834 arrives on Saturday 7/3 16:45 from Norwich E145 LM835 departs on Sunday 8/3 20:45 to Norwich E145

And Faro which increases to 6 weekly with Tuesday flights resuming :)

The last Salzburg flight operated today for the season. I’ve noticed over the last 2 years that it ends a lot earlier than it has in the past (use to operate until mid April I think) now seems to finish at the end of February. Shame as most of the SZG flights ive seen do seem busy.

B738 G-DRTi is positioning out this afternoon to Tenerife to be the spare aircraft there. Believe B738 G-JZBP that was on a test flight back to Leeds was sent to Newcastle as one of their aircraft went tech.

Jet2 A321N G-SUNJ expected to visit later on operating the Rome flight. STC Covering for B738 G-GDFW after it went tech in FCO. Edit- unfortunately not happening now as they’ve fixed G-GDFW which is expected at 18:30.

Probably not as there isn’t much space. If you put a 738 on 17 then it would be to close to 16 and 18 to safely put aircraft on those stands.

A321N OE-IUB is down to operate tommorows Paris flight. STC

Stands 16 and 18 are currently capable of handling B738s as there’s 16L/R as well as 18R/L. They use 16R and 18L for 738s and Airbuses. ATRS and the B733s use 16L and 18R.
