    Certification tests for gas springs used in aircraft door?

    Hello all, I'm new here and stumbled upon this page while searching for answer to a small question. I'm really wondering if there is any Aviation certification requirement to small components of aircraft parts such as gas springs used in doors or seats, etc.?
