Of course this is a regrettable situation.
However, at least anecdotally, I have heard many people are pleased with the BA CityFlyer service, especially with the complementary drinks and snacks still making a token appearance!

Yes, Jerry, that’s correct. And I agree it would be unwise of Virgin’s PR department to draw attention to the closure of a route a - so we’ll see what comes with the summer schedule next year.
Virgin Atlantic officially announce new MAN-LAX route, with increases to other routes. No mention of dropping SFO. New Los Angeles route bookable from 25th June.
