Shame it doesn't start until June.
A dummy booking suggests that timings are a little better for connections than the Helvetic services we just lost. Connecting flights (or presumably rail) can be booked on the Swiss website.
After a very poor experience both ways with KLM/AMS in March, I...
Anyone with inside knowledge know when BRS is planning to have the new scanners up & running?

Rumours of delays at some airports, e.g. LHR where floors need to be reinforced in...
Apparently the Liverpool-FRA flights are also being culled.
This could simply be a reflection of LH's hub strategy, for which there may be several drivers:
* SAS is almost certainly leaving *A and joining Skyteam next year, so LH group may be looking to reinforce its nordic market presence...
I have a booking for the Long Stay car park on Saturday 7/10.
Yesterday I received an email from the airport entitled "Our airport transformation begins | Your parking options" stating that from 1/11 the Long Stay car park is closed.
Although hopefully we will return well before that date...
Coverage on local TV news programmes today that construction is starting on the transport interchange.
It appears that this will occupy much of the current Long Stay car park footprint, with presumably an associated temporary reduction in available parking spaces.
Certainly car park pricing...
Yes we connected a few times @ BRU. Typically, connection times were shorter than those offered @ AMS with the added bonus of well stocked chocolate shops airside!
Getting back to SWISS, as mentioned earlier we are also connecting, albeit onto the Swiss/SBB Fly/Rail service.
For the summer...
Agreed these LFs are surprisingly good considering the economic climate. Perhaps they will have to continue with the A223 rather than the smaller Helvetic aircraft for the summer schedules, although I suspect the main reason for rostering the Airbus is the extra luggage space for winter sports...
I think there is a halfway house here.
Should someone wish to take advantage of the direct LX flights (operated by Helvetic, I understand) but not stay for 7 nights, it should be possible to combine a one-way direct flight to/from ZRH with a LH flight via FRA in the other direction.....and all...
Hopefully very few people have booked to fly from BRS to ORK & DUB any time soon. Article doesn't explicitly name BRS, but I can't imagine it will be unaffected.

I suppose cancelling wet lease agreements is a 'quick win' for an airline looking to reduce its cost base in circumstances such as we find ourselves, plus no headache about what to do with 'furloughed' aircraft (the drone footage of all the BA aircraft parked at BOH is scary!).
Obviously...
Risk of flight cancellation is certainly a valid reason not to book in the current climate.
However, this can be mitigated to an extent by choosing an airline which offers several daily flights (albeit with connections in many cases), rather than those offering 2 or 3 weekly rotations when a...
Whilst the substantial reduction in rotations in w/c 15/3 is clearly dramatic, presumably this is down to lack of bookings. If needs be, SN will rebook pax presumably on KL After all, one would imagine that there are fewer business trips being made to BRU now, so in all likelihood there will be...
A friend of mine was stranded in Edinburgh by the demise of Flybe - he had a return ticket back to SOU. Lots of people will be in the same position. It's still probably cheaper and quicker to fly to a nearby airport than pay walk-up fares and endure the train journey, schlep across London etc.
I actually think the stars may align to the benefit of BRS in this case.
The green lobby will very likely scupper the LHR third runway. With the next Climate Conference in Glasgow in 2 years time, the UK would need to be seen to be leading the way, so at the very least the issue will be kicked...
Time will tell whether the 3rd runway at LHR is stopped. If that is the case, the market circumstances may eventually become similar to the mid naughties when Bermuda II artificially limited UK/US carrier's access at LHR to BA, VS, AA & UA for operations to/from the USA.
Should capacity limits...
