Glasgow: Jet2.com Flights, New Routes & Base Updates

Re: Flight LS 124 Bodrum - Glasgow 7 June 2014 That's weird... the 5 hours is due to the lower groundspeed, I wonder weather there was something on MEL that only allowed it up to 24K, it's done 4 flights since, all at normal cruise levels and flew down there at a normal level too. Weird, that's...

Glasgow: General Airport Discussion & Updates

Looks like a number of Aer Lingus flights will be spending tonight in Glasgow, Dublin is closed apparently due to severe crosswinds and I have seen on FR24 atleast 3 Aer Lingus flights heading to Glasgow.

It would be another great thing to see! Would be great to see Glasgow get more longhaul connections! (and more widebodies for me to picture!!)

Glasgow: Emirates Flight Status, Hub News & Discussion

Now that would be the best thing to happen in my life! But as far as I'm aware Glasgow isn't A380 ready... also can the A380 use Glasgow's 8,743ft runway? It would be amazing to see as I think Glasgow does well enough for them to get good loads, but can they get it in?

Thomson 757 G-OOBN flying TOM55X Tenerife - Glasgow squacked 7700 just east of Belfast and made a very steep descent from 34000 (when I saw it) right down and landed immediately on 05 (normal ops were on 23) it disapeared from FR24 around Glasgow so I assume he landed (shuttle took off about ten...

I think it might be the 757, but could possibly be the 738, what day is the flight. I think the 757. Definitely not the 733

Glasgow: General Airport Discussion & Updates

Later last night (about 6-7pm I think) a Euro Atlantic 767 (CS-TFS) flew over my house leaving Glasgow with the callsign NLV6959. I looked it up and couldent find anything, although I did find that NLV is the ICAO code for the new Livingston airlines. Any idea what this flight was doing. I don't...

Yeah it is on the terminal side, on the 23 end of the airport. I found out that it is going to be a new hangar for Gama (the guys who run the air ambulance) and (If I remember correctly) it can hold up to about 8 Beach 200 - like aircraft...

I think Jet2 needs the 757 in Glasgow in all honesty for the longer range flights to the Canaries and Turkey, but that is just my opinion

That's the one Aviador. I guess it must be for business aviation, as there isn't any sort of hangar for those aircraft. Sadly, one of my favourite spotting places will no longer be as good with this infront of it :(

Glasgow: General Airport Discussion & Updates

I was up at Glasgow on Sunday, and after the sun moved I suddenly notcied a structure on the far side, next to the executive area. Drove round and had a closer look, looks like the (almost completed) framework for a small-ish hangar. Any idea what this is?

Just landed at quarter past 1... 5 hours late. Looks like he went out to Cyprus after going into FRA. with a delay like that I assume it must of been mechanical? Or is 5 hours a usual delay when there is a medical diversion?
