I think there are quite a lot of big delays in Europe and then if a tech problem happens it can get a little bit out of hand. I heard one at MAN tonight but I missed who it was but they were already off stand and were asked if they could take a delay at a point on the airfield until a new slot...
The thing now is MAN is like Heathrow was 20/30 years ago they got all the business and had to fight for the business tooth and nail and I know because a friend of mine was heavily involved
Yes I am a little confused with next year as LGW needs 2 extra aircraft plus it appears MAN needs 4 as the A330 are supposed not to be happening and they are all prime destinations so we will have to see
what happens
I`m sure someone can answer but I believe work was being done on taxiway and the tarmac was melting and that is why fire brigade were down hosing it down
