A work colleague of mine returned from Dublin last week on an evening flight, the whole flight walked straight through immigration with nobody at the desks checking.

I'm really hoping BHX make a big push for these Shannon flights. What a shot in the arm it would be to get US bound flights back again.

Just booked Washington via Dublin with Aer Lingus in May, from the BA Holiday site.

We always flew from LHR to go stateside but have now changed our plans and go via AMS with KLM. Just booked LAX from BHX via AMS for next year.

I visited the airport yesterday to watch the comings and goings, It really highlighted the room to expand traffic wise. I was stood around twiddling my thumbs in between any movements taking place. Admittedly it was after the initial morning rush but It seems like we're going backwards :(
