From looking at the picture, it seems to be overlooking the Northbound M6 at Junction 3A (Coleshill Interchange). It is most likely drone footage taken from the fields north of the interchange, can't see any towers or high points nearby.
Just noticed several flights are either holding around Birmingham's airspace, and there is a Monarch A321 from Tenerife which I believe is diverting to Manchester. Why could this be?
