    Bristol Airport Parking

The cost of parking in the new multi storey car-park isnt very helpful, a few days works out to just over £100 which costs more than the flights!

    Bristol Airport Spotters Day 2018

Another successful event happened last Sunday at Bristol Airport, thank you to everyone that came along to the event, there were many happy faces who enjoyed a day out which makes organising an event so worthwhile. We would also like to thank the airport police who gave an informative and...

    Bristol Airport Spotters Day 2018

Thank you for the good wishes. Unfortunately the aviation fair was just too successful and so it became a victim of its own success, the last aviation fair saw just over 1000 visitors, local radio and local TV were present as well. A few complaints were made by air crew that they couldnt park...

    Bristol Airport Spotters Day 2018

Apologies for not being very active on this group, I got my PPL in April 2017 and currently studying to become a commercial pilot. Aside from that I am holding a "spotters day" at Bristol Airport in the admin building (old terminal), tickets went on sale a few weeks back and sold out within...

    Manston Airport

Yes its just too remote for passengers, cargo could work but I dont trust this RiverOak company who seem so determined to buy the airport, it seems odd to me that a US company would be so adamant on buying an airfield in Kent, maybe its just me?

    Airport Consultative Committee

Just catching up on this post, I dont think a runway extension over Felton Common would be possible as not only do you need to extend the runway you also need to put a taxiway alongside which widens the impact somewhat, either that or all aircraft would need to backtrack and turn 180' at the end!

    Manston Airport

I used to live in Kent and the airport has gone through so many owners, I just dont think it will ever "takeoff" as there arent enough potential customers nearby to use it, I know I will get shot for saying that but if it could work it would of done by now. Im sad it is closed and its an airport...

    Road, Rail & Access Issues

I dont think the new surface is that great, driving along it doesnt seem smooth to me and has the effect of wobbles and vibrations, why they couldnt carry onto the A370 and finish the job!
