Found the following on FR24 - AA on LHR to BRS!
A bit weird, aircraft type shown as 'RFS', could it be 'road freight (ferry) service' or something like that? Thought BRS didn't 'do' freight!

Umm not sure about this & the video on another thread. It appears the airport is pushing the 'South West' and the 'anti s' are mostly local to the area NIMBYs. Possibly this is a bad airport strategy; the locals are, after all, neighbours

Looking on Fightradar the SQ 21 EWR to SIN was almost overhead BRS (few miles south) at 37000, 508 knots at about 20.45 on 25th Nov.
Maybe its nothing out of the ordinary, but I've never seen it...

According to the BBC - QR received GBP1m to market Wales as a tourist destination !
No wonder BRS lost out, would it be legal for BRS to make such a payment as
a private company? even if it had the available funds!
So the total seats for BRS available is up 7.7%
The devil is in the detail. The top 5:
EZY up 10.2% (to give 53% of total)
RYR up 2.33% (20.7%)
TUI up 28.4% (9.4%)
Thos Cook up 31.1% (6.2%)
BMR up 5.8% (3.3%)
Which gives almost 93% of the total, the remainder are of limited statistical value...
