My guess is that the fencing on the RVP side will now be removed and the building footprint enlarged into the are around, and possibly including, the mounds. Access to the site can then be made from landside.
There must be an existing planning application for this work somewhere.

Does this mean that there is a distinction between cancelled flights for BA's own reasons (de-icing facilities etc) and NATS/ATC predicted weather problems, where EC261 compensation is being claimed? This obviously could affect a lot of passengers.
