KARFA, Many thanks for that explanation. Does this mean that there is a distinction between cancelled flights for BA's own reasons (de-icing facilities etc) and NATS/ATC predicted weather problems, where EC261 compensation is being claimed? This obviously could affect a lot of passengers.
