No Easyjet expansion this summer. Pushed back to 2019 as this will help T1 from becoming overcrowded. More Jet2 will move to T2 next summer and this will enable Easyjet growth.
I still think BHX have a few things up their sleeves for 2018, I am hoping it turns out to be ok bearing in mind the loss of Monarch. I think we maybe slightly down on 2017 but bounce back to new highs in 2019.
Nothing been rumored at all for the fourth route, but bearing in mind the range restriction it could be Washington or somewhere else in Canada ?
Let hope Monarch see sense and they do restart long haul lets hope it is centered around BHX as we are the airport who need the capacity.
I heard this morning (part 2) would be an add onto another European city then tonight I heard that it was just a couple of one off rotations. But the destination and airline would be great either way.
I wouldnt be surprised if Monarch threw their hat into the ring with 737MAX's next year, I understand BHX will be first base. There is a strong possibility of bigger aircraft too and again BHX will feature.
