Im guessing you mean in terms of scheduled airline? Both Thomson Airways and Thomas Cook each have at least 2+ weekly flights on 737/757/767 sized aircraft.

That is what I was lead to believe too. I heard it was one of the best performing northern bases in the summer in a number of ways but either like you said last summer put them off further expansion or the outlook this summer is not very good in terms of bookings... :dunno:

I believe Flybe have flown from DSA since 2006 starting off with a double daily BHD service (albeit very poorly timed for a business trip).

Exactly. Also to clarify TCX has allocations on many if not the majority of TOM services from DSA, just as they both share on each others flights across the UK. By no means by offering an allocation to a tour operator outside your own group does it say that a flight can't attract passenger...

The passengers going to Sharm were coached to a couple of other airport's. The passengers coming back from sharm were also split between a couple of other UK airports and coached back to Doncaster. Their holiday's were not cancelled, Thomson will always do what they can before they have to...
