Seemed like fun, i’d quite like to get around scotland in the car.

    Random Stuff!!

the demographics of London are slightly different and it has an absolutely amazing public transport network. Probably the best in the world. It’s actually inconvenient to drive a car there in my opinion, even with the congestion charge removed. we have nothing of the sorts in Wales. The...

well it’s something that should be happening and it would of gone ahead under First Minister Carwyn Jones. The problem is the current far left administration. and people claim Wales isn’t reaching it’s full potential…

Most likely true in the United States, where massive feed lots with thousands and thousands of cows being pumped with food in deserts. Not so true in the UK, where grass and plants cover the landscape. Stocking densities are far, far lower with more greenhouse gases being taken in by plants...

Britain is ranked second in the world in the soft power index - it’s easy to say our influence is waining because of a mishap in Afghanistan or whatever but anyway, that’s not that relevant to this discussion. Even if our power is declining in the world, that’s not an excuse for doing nothing...

Then so be it. pre pandemic I was very much lets fly as much as possible, lets have bigger planes, bigger airports, more runways and more flights. however covid has changed my outlook on things - we only have one planet we need to protect. We have been far too greedy in the past, taking...

Aviation is far more polluting than eating meat. A single A320 return trip to Spain gives out more emissions than one UK farm gives out in 10 years. In the UK grass takes in more greenhouse emissions than are given out by the cattle.

yes. This. the unfortunate reality is we’ll all need to fly less in the future, eliminating things like tier point runs will be a good start.

If we carried on with this attitude we certainly will be heading for disaster. We will have to fly less in the future for sure, hopefully we’ll see further increases in air passenger duty to encourage this. Our home economy also benefits more when we staycation and it puts more money into the...

We should not stop all economic development but it does need to be controlled - the climate emergency is the biggest threat we have perhaps ever faced and we cannot return to the pre-covid way of doing things. Wales is in the last chance saloon on climate change. Green spaces and fields should...

i may be wrong but as we share a legal system, this would be the same in Wales. It’s sad as we are in a climate emergency and we should be doing everything we can to save the planet. Therefore this land should be preserved, i’d rather see a family farm there than an amazon warehouse exploiting...

    Random Stuff!!

I am not sure on the terms of the lease by any means - but if it’s one of the old school farm tenancies they may not be able to move them unless they’re selling the land (which is obviously is what is happening here) Although Legal and General can get a far better return by developing the land...

    Random Stuff!!

of course it doesn’t, because much like Welsh Government the whole climate emergency is a lot of spin with a few small actions to make it look like something is being done. if they really cared they would halt this development.
