Middlesbrough FC flew down to London Oxford on an Eastern ATR72 earlier in the season. I wonder if LUFC will consider flying there, bearing in mind the busy Easter schedule and what's at stake #MOT.

Shows you the decline in the CI market over the last 30 odd years.
Back in and around 2017, LBA were Middlesbrough FC's official airport partner. Absolutely no idea what that entailed or what the benefits were to either party. The relationship didn't last very long.
Was lucky enough to spend the weekend in York. Lots of advertising for Newcastle Airport both at the railway station and on almost every bus. The Commercial Team up there must certainly see York as a key target based on the potential spend.
Based on FR24 data, during the last 80 days of operation, EI3390 from DUB has diverted to LPL 5 times. The equivalent MAN flight (also operated by Emerald), appears to have been cancelled once.
FR2447 from Malaga also made a very odd approach. It went up all the way to Penrith before heading back to LBA and entering the hold. Appears to have done a couple of circuits before landing on 32.
The aircraft is scheduled to visit 4 different UK airports today. Namely: Teesside, Leeds, Newcastle and finally ending up in Bristol as their night-stop.
So many potential opportunities, but BCN stands out for me. Looking at the decline over the years, when I flew from LBA back in the summer of 2016, the route was serving ~11K+ passengers p/m over 3 carriers. Now it 's down to ~2.5 K and performs poorly when compared to LPL, EMA, NCL and MAN.
