FR2447 from Malaga also made a very odd approach. It went up all the way to Penrith before heading back to LBA and entering the hold. Appears to have done a couple of circuits before landing on 32.

LS406 appears to be diverting to STN. It departed around 4 hours late so it's going to be a very long night for those poor passenger.

As per FR24, up until 16:25, we'd only had one arrival all day and that was ~4 hours ago.

I would hazard a guess the wind at 10KT straight down 14 is the issue. Would be perfect for a 14 arrival if LBA wasn't in LVP again.

The aircraft is scheduled to visit 4 different UK airports today. Namely: Teesside, Leeds, Newcastle and finally ending up in Bristol as their night-stop.

I saw this at Mini-Europe, Brussels and couldn't help thinking they were paying homage to KT101 and LBA.

So many potential opportunities, but BCN stands out for me. Looking at the decline over the years, when I flew from LBA back in the summer of 2016, the route was serving ~11K+ passengers p/m over 3 carriers. Now it 's down to ~2.5 K and performs poorly when compared to LPL, EMA, NCL and MAN.
