BM1885 to CDG cancelled as is the BM1886 from CDG it looks as though they are short of an airframe. Currently 4 BM’s on the ground but 5 needed for the schedule. Maybe one has gone tech somewhere.
I think it would be really pushing it to call it journalism. All their so called reporters are nothing more than social media surfers, that's how they get all their so called news.

Bristol Airport have announced a bmi regional codeshare with Air France that comes into effect on 14th May, the news suggests connections to 25 cities in France that can be booked via the airfrance.co.uk website.
No mention of codeshare on international flights.

Bristol Airport have tweeted that they are serving West Country Cocktails at their stand at Routes Europe. I tweeted back it would be nice to see them talking about more connectivity from not just resident airlines but with the likes of FlyDubai, Swiss, Turkish
I think the starter strip would be the least contentious when it comes to any local nimby's, any encroachment onto Felton Common would be a real bun fight. I would of thought the 150 metres on 09 and the 389 metres to 27 (the prevailing wind runway) would surely lesson if not eliminate the need...
Today's Cancun went via MAN, tweet from passenger to TUI stating due to rain/wet runway aircraft could not take on sufficient fuel to go direct. Incidentally runway 09 was in use, so I don't know whether this would have also impacted the fuel situation.
That would make more sense, I think the article has been poorly written as it would seem to suggest 1.1million from Wales travel to the 3 said destinations.
