You do a remarkable job Scottie with these logs so you are allowed the occasional omission of a solitary diversion.:) I happened to see it on FR24 and it appeared on MAN arrivals. But was it Saturday and was it EDI-CDG? How this senior's memory fades!

There was 1 diversion, I think Saturday morning, when an easyjet EDI-CDG arrived about 08.00. Not sure whether it was a technical or medical diversion, but it happened in what was quite a busy period anyway with a Virgin flight doing about 3 circuits at Mirsi as a result.

A good start to the year with pax up 5.22% Interesting that domestic increased 10%. I guess Southanpton and Exeter will have contributed to that. Freight doing well too.

If they start, at least MAN will have something new on long haul. Rather disappointing otherwise compared to what was expected / hoped for, not to mention the demise of EIUK.

When I checked a couple of days in June, that was showing as an A359. 2 dates in May gave the B773. Sample dates in Sept/Oct/Nov still showing the A359. Hopefully, the web site has still to be updated. Otherwise, use of the 773 may be short lived. However, SPD Travels is a very reliable...

Was it Sunday 4th Jan or 28 Dec. that CW said would be one of the 2 busiest days over the Christmas/New Year period. The other was Friday 19 Dec. as I recall. Interesting that without 44 cancellations yesterday, movements would have only just been 2 short of 600. Hope your 6% increase holds up...

I think LPL was closed for snow clearance as we've just taken a Jet 2 divert. An EI prop diverted from LPL to LBA.

By 11.50, the Met vis. had improved as well as the RVRs. Once LVP's were in place, I noticed they started landing flights on both runways for a time which cut down the delays. Not sure if there were diversions elsewhere during that interim period.

A BA Shuttle also diverted in. LHR suddenly hit with fog so I guess it was delays while they set up LVPs. Vis has improved now.

So EIUK managed 1 departure but no arrivals based on the cancellations. But 2 movements shown so was there a switch in destination or a flight delayed 1 day? However, the BGI has departed today and the JFK isn't shown as cancelled. Have they found an aircraft from somewhere?

I think the peak morning time for EasyJet drop-offs is more likely to be between 03.30 and 05.30 or possibly 06.00 for the early departure wave - before most of the early long haul arrivals. However, this is winter; next summer could be a bigger problem when Jet2 have a much heavier schedule of...

CCGE29, are you able to shed any more light on the Emirates lounge. Is it expected to be late March when it opens or even later now? Which MAN lounge will EK premium passengers be offered after the airline moves to T2?

The post re the EK lounge mentioned 'much later in 2026'. I'd heard March'26 as well, but I wasn't sure whether 'much later' meant from the date of the move from T1 or now much later in 2026.

I would have thought Qatar with up to 4 flights a day might be ahead of Etihad for a lounge. It could also act as a One World lounge. As for Emirates, I don't understand why the design of its lounge is only now being considered when it's been know for a few years they were having one.
