From memory Aer Lingus UK A330 G-EILA has been tech in Dublin since 2nd December. Aer Lingus mainline A330 EI-EIK is currently Manchester based but does not appear to operate on a daily basis. Is this because it is operated by a Dublin crew?

Icelandair ICE450 just diverted in which is LHR flight, just passed Birmingham and did a U turn

A BA Shuttle also diverted in. LHR suddenly hit with fog so I guess it was delays while they set up LVPs. Vis has improved now.

It is freezing fog and still a very low cloudbase

By 11.50, the Met vis. had improved as well as the RVRs.
Once LVP's were in place, I noticed they started landing flights on both runways for a time which cut down the delays.
Not sure if there were diversions elsewhere during that interim period.
