    Jet2 B737-800 G-GDFF seen parked up on stand 19 after positioning in from Manchester earlier. Not many 737-800s without winglets and Jet2 don’t often base FF and FJ at Leeds so always nice to see one in.

    No I believe it was full. They used the spare Tenerife based B738 G-DRTF to bring the remaining pax back to MAN. That was a charter flight although I’m not sure what it was in relation to.

    Jet2 B737-300 G-GDFG was covering A321neo G-SUNJ which went tech at Lanzarote so sent to operate yesterdays LS892 ACE-MAN flight. The other B737-300 G-GDFL went to cover for B737-800 G-DRTE which went tech at LPL so operated their LS3207/8 flights to Alicante and back.

    Titan Airways A321 G-POWU in the Santas Lapland livery seen here yesterday (Friday) morning parked up on remote stand 21 after it went tech the night before after arriving From Ivalo. Positioned out later that day to Newcastle to do a footie charter.

    Unfortunately there’s no spare aircraft so had to wait for the Malaga inbound to return Update to my previous post apparently B738 G-JZHV is serviceable again so is operating the Budapest and the Airbus is Cancelled.

    Because B733 G-GDFN went tech this morning so FO covered (sometimes FO does come to the rescue) To Add B733 G-GDFM and B738 G-JZHV is tech so are bringing an A321 G-HLYF in from Manchester to do the Budapest flight ETD 17:45.

    TRP stands for Tug release point and there points across the airfield for pushback drivers to push aircraft to. Although sometimes they get pushed either West or East depending on which Runway is being used and other traffic etc. Alpha Papa and November Papa are “extra stands” on the taxiway...

    21A/B/C have not been used since they started building the new stands they currently get called 21N/S and park 2 aircraft there. Meaning a loss of a stand there temporarily. Stand 1 is usually closed in the winter as they park the Winter ground equipment on there and taxiway alpha is closed...

    Believe the 2 new stands won’t be to far from opening as there’s been mention today that they’re planning to do some trials of the stands on Tuesday.
