    No test, lack of stands at T2 when the Ethiopian arrived. Passengers had to deplane via steps which cannot be done on Pier C, so would have been easier to keep at T3 until ready to be towed over to T2.

    I think it will be based on stand availability at the time of the scheduled arrivals. I have noticed on FR24 that the Aer Lingus A320 flights are allocated stand 103 (gate A3) majority of the time but occasionally they get a remote stand.

    Thanks for the info. Has the Aspire in T1 closed or is that the 1903? Yes, it has been mentioned that Pier B will be used for nightstopping aircraft and therefore first wave departures for Ryanair flights, I assume bussed over from current T3 departures.

    With confirmation (although not official) from the airport’s flights section page on the website, suggests Ryanair will be T1 based from 21st October for departures and T3 for arrivals. But does MAG have a plan for their current T1 lounges, given the fact there aren’t any in T3. I have a few...

    The T3 expansion and improvements can’t come quick enough in that case! With BA moving over to T2 soon, that gives Ryanair 2 additional stands overnight then. When is the reconfiguration of stands 16 & 17 planned for?

    I imagine BA are still in discussions with management as they aren’t happy with the set up of domestic arrivals. Air Transat should be there, maybe missed off in error. And Ryanair aren’t moving to T2, they will become the sole occupier of T3, but there isn’t yet confirmation of their baggage...
