A C17 was circling around Birmingham last week and strangely enough, that one appeared on FR24, but this one didn't. I heard a A330 voyager heading east to Europe the other day and heard the loud rumble from far away and that was on the FR24 as well.
Hi everyone, hope you are all doing well during these horrible times.
I saw a C17 globemaster above my house today, I assume it was heading to BHX but it didn't show up on radar.
I took it from my bedroom window when it was far away, zoomed in with my Canon camera.
This video is definitely right up there with one of the craziest aviation videos I've seen. It's amazing how quickly he touches the ground after going past!
To make the most of this long downtime, I've just started playing Cities: Skylines and I'm loving it so far. I'm a fan of creative games like this.
I'm also a huge fan of the Halo series on Xbox, one of the best stories ever told in video games and a fantastic multiplayer mode too.
I am heading to New York in June, flying via Air France (BHX-CDG-JFK) but am hoping my trip won't get cancelled due to the virus.
Would be going on an A380 from Paris if it still goes ahead. It'll be my first time going to NYC and I am quite excited.
Its disgusting to see prices shoot up like this. There are probably children suffering from illness and lower wage families are sadly put at a disadvantage as they may not be able to afford it.
The selfish people also making people by selling loads of toilet rolls on Ebay for high profits is...
Love the optimism JennyJet! This is the best thing I've read all day. Hopefully it won't be too long until things gradually return to normal and welcome back to the forum.
Words can't Express how saddened and shocked I am following this news. Can't imagine BHX without Monarch, Thomas Cook and now Flybe. A massive blow to BHX and I am glad I flew with them to CDG in 2018, service was flawless and efficient.
Sounds like a very fun day out! I too am excited for the future of the city (HS2, the new 103 Colmore row building etc), and I always love shopping in Grand Central, it feels like it has a very vibrant and high class atmosphere to it. And who could forget those fantastic views from the library too.
Ashwo99, wishing you a speedy recovery, am very sorry to hear about this horrible news.
I'm absolutely horrified to see that two attacks have occurred in this supposed to be safe and friendly day out for families. I will think twice before heading to the park again.
Bunch of losers who have...
Slim to no chance of that happening. If BA CF couldn't even get the seasonal routes to Palma De Mallorca and Florence to work, what hope does BHX have of BA operating the domestic routes?
Merry Christmas to everyone on this forum. I enjoyed keeping up to date on BHX news over the last year and sharing my photography, let's hope 2020 brings some new routes and airlines.
