I’ve not heard anything about Air France but a twice daily CDG on an Emb170/190 would surely work. The good thing about Paris is not just the connections offered thru CDG but that Paris is obviously a destination in its own right…together with Disneyland.
Well that first pax load outbound that Yorkshirelad said was 114 was much better than I thought it would be. Seeing as LBA now seems to have employed someone who actually knows how to post stories on Facebook & IG it must have been a good opportunity to promote the Dragons taking the inaugural...
Just had a look at when Catalan are playing home games. These games seem to be always on Saturday’s which fit into Ryanair’s Thu & Sun schedules perfectly. On some dates in the summer the flights are already 80-90% booked with return basic fares between £350-450.
I wonder if some of the teams...
Tallinn along with Vilnius is currently only served from LTN, STN & LGW. I would love to see Wizz on these routes into LBA serving the north of the country. This would also make me happy due to Tallinn being my Christmas market choice this year.
I see that Loganair have been allocated 30 pairs of slots a week at LHR to operate on domestic services. When they flew to LHR from MME didn’t they have a BA codeshare on those flights? Perfect for a twice daily from LBA.
I read an article last month in Flight Global with Sean Doyle, he said that for the time been the Flybe remedy slots will be used for additional rotations to Manchester and Edinburgh until another airline comes forward to use them...
TUI holidays have at last confirmed online that Freebird will operate their 4 weekly flights from LBA to AYT/DLM from late May. We have known on here for a while but it’s good to have it finally in writing.
Returned from Vilnius this morning after a quick 2 night trip there. Flew out at 0615 Sunday morning. Security was a breeze at 0430 when we went through. All shops and restaurants airside were open. Totally full flight out to VNO on this soon to be axed service. Family sat next to us had...
As from the end of March the only 2 routes from Northern England & Scotland to Lithuania will be Liverpool & Edinburgh to Kansas with Ryanair. Ryanair have only pulled Leeds & Birmingham to Vilnius because they have had a tiff with Vilnius Airport over charges. I’m flying to Vilnius next Sunday...
I’ve just noticed that the Sunday DLM flights this summer have now changed to a morning departure. So we will have 2 Freebirds on the ground at the same time. On the TUI website the DLM/AYT flights are still showing “other carrier” atm but I think somebody has posted the Freebird flight numbers...
I’m going to VNO on the 5th March for 2 nights so my flights are still operating. My mates mother-in-law’s return flight home at the end of March has just been cancelled. Strangely there are now no flights, with any airline, to VNO from northern England or Scotland. Nearest airport is STN or...
I’m not a football fan but after working in various Leeds hotels over the past 10years I’m still amazed how many supporters come to Leeds on match weekends from Norway, Denmark and Sweden. If Jet2 could operate some FRI & MON flight to say BGO CPH OSL over the football season I’m sure they could...
Forgot to post about my flights to Poznan last weekend. Both flights totally full and on time. Thru security in less than 10mins. From what I could see all airside shops were open….apart from BK which was having a refit.
