20 on the flight I took down to LHR on Wednesday. Looked at early trains from Leeds to London, all well over £100 one way. I paid £43 with FlyBe. If this route was advertised this week it would be full!

Flew down to LHR this morning to pay my respects to HMQ. About 20 onboard. Door closed at 0645 but then delayed for 45 mins because the Swissport push back truck had a flat battery 🙄

Have Ryanair pulled BVA for this winter? Doesn’t show on their website for booking.

Also Monday 25th mid morning is showing as a 737-800. Looks like they are upgrading some flights if the schedules have been reduced on the day.

Next Wednesday is showing that the mid morning flight will be operating on a 737-900. Is this the first time a 900, of any airline, has been to LBA?

I never said the flights are cancelled. I said FlyBe have been made to stop selling new reservations on this service until next Monday.

Poor FlyBe, they can’t win can they. No trains to London tomorrow with LNER. As a result the 0645 looks to be selling quite well. Only trouble is you can’t return as the LHR-LBA flights for this week have been removed from sale because of Heathrow caps on the number of passengers allowed

I’ve just checked again and Saturday is definitely showing a 68 seater…with a 1C&D showing. The dash doesn’t have 1C&D. ATR72’s are usually 68 seats aren’t they?

Yeah….I’m so glad I decided to get the train down from Leeds this afternoon. Let’s see if my return flight up to LBA on the 25th operates. BTW, I’m staying at the Premier Inn T4 and the views overlooking 27L are amazing.

When I flew to LHR last month I was in the queue for 1hr 30mins. Jet2 staff were calling forward their pax. I saw nobody from Swissport calling Ryanair pax forward and it was only Ryanair pax I saw being told to return to check in because their gates were closed.

Very quick flight back to LBA. 35mins. This evenings crew had today operated BHX-BHD-LBA-LHR-LBA. They will night stop in Leeds tonight. Then tomorrow lunchtime get a taxi back to BHX…and do the same flights again!
