I have checked the pax figures for Jan - Aug 2017 with pax figures Jan - Aug 2025 and there is an 8.5% increase this year and 2017 was the first time LBA exceeded 4m pax.

They don't seem to be worried about passengers that fly from MAN who they can get to the same destination form LPL/LBA.
Why don't they do a deal - LBA/LPL send their Atlantic traffic to MAN and MAN send their PMI traffic to LPL/LBA. :unsure:
The Air Baltic ones have a very small screen for the safety video which I only found out when I noticed there wasn't a demonstration by the cabin crew.

If Wizz, and it's a big IF, do consolidate LBA/LPL ops at MAN, we would possibly lose only one route - CLJ. Hopefully Ryanair will pick up the frequency and CLJ.

I didn't say that they were getting special treatment, I asked the question - why should they get special treatment? I was referring to the comment by @Trumpington, that the pax would not be happy bussing from Pier C to remote stand especially in the rain.
I don't see why BA should get preferential treatment for the few flights a day when there are other airlines who operate a great deal more flights and are more important (financial wise) to MAN.
Come back this morning, first use of arrival procedures, BF impressive, no luggage so can't comment on the baggage carousels. The exit outside is not very good.

When I decide to go on my trips, I always use LBA, unless I am going with a group from another airport.
Since I am "permanetely on holiday" I can be flexible with timings and usually get a good price. If it is cheaper from MAN/EMA/LPL it doesn't matter, I am happy with the deal I have got...
