I would agree 4 x E170 a day is better than 3 x E190 from a passenger perspective but as you say slots at AMS could be an issue.

If we are to believe what some are saying on here it will be next spring/summer when they increase their flights, ie when the terminal is finished.

Thanks for clarifying the situation. The issue that if she gets to AMS there are only limited flights available to anywhere else. Those flights that do operate must be massively in demand. Train to the UK may be the best option, unless KL book her on a flight direct to the UK or somewhere that...

Im not sure what the airlines responsibilities are when disruption is caused by weather/circumstances outside their control. Having said that I'm sure my friend will explore all possibilities.

A friend of ours travelling KLM has been stuck in Athens for four days. They have 'promised' her a connection toLeeds tomorrow. Lets hope the planned cancellations are lifted.

I, and several others on here believe it makes a difference. We criticise the 'opposition' ad infinitum so why would we let them monopolise these meetings? It an opportunity to let them know that those who are 'pro' airport are just as committed as they are. Staying away achieves nothing.
