My brother lives in Exeter and he's told me it's been wild down there.
Today's Eithad made a valiant attempt at landing but diverted to Frankfurt. Incidentally the early Aer Lingus New York-Dublin service went to Brussels - it did a couple of attempts and held for an hour,

noted with the 2 new routes is confirmation of daily flights here next summer
I expect it would be like this
2130 arrival into LBA
2215 departure to a destination 3 to 4 hours away
0215 arrival at that destination
0300 depart that destination
0600 arrival into LBA
0645 next departure from LBA
We're talking the like of Malta, Paphos, Hurghada, Tenerife, Antalya...
It would be very odd if it's the 10 new Etihad routes reveal that City is referencing!
Technically we could be ruled out as we've had an A380 operate on a one-off basis on their services before!
A handful of diversions so far today
U29008 G-EZWS BHX
TOM 179 G-TUID BRS
VUE7830 EC-KLT LGW
AFFR1580 F-HZUT, LHR. When was the last time Air France diverted LHR service here rather then go back to Paris

Just picking a few of those.
Luxor potentially easyJet
Skopje, none of the airlines operating there would also add MAN except for Wizzair? Unless it's Jet2 deciding on a new city break?
Amritsar - would say Air India but they have bigger markets to serve at MAN Not sure who else would offer...

Been in the Lake District on a daytrip (nicely planned!) and on the way back, I noticed a number of diversions we took that departed back to DUB have now ended up in Shannon
Most of my day in the Yorkshire Dales we either went from heavy rain to fog or fog to heavy rain. Bolton Castle would not have been out of contention for being used in a horror move with it getting shrouded in mist in the hour we were there. Reckon it was around 50 to 200 metre visibility in...
