That would make sense but I don’t think it’s the plan, even with COVID. I believe the current plan is for the last of them to be gone by the end of S21 but I think G-BYAY (at BHX) may now be finished. I read that it was due to leave this month and it hasn’t flown in a while.

Looks like this morning’s 3am arrival from DLM was on a 737 (G-FDZB), but it had previously been a 757 up to and including last week. TUI’s 757 fleet is (unsurprisingly) not flying much at all at the moment. I wonder how many (or if any) 757s will be wanted or needed for next summer.

That’s a good point and may well be partly the case. But they still seem to be offering considerably less capacity to Cyprus this year than normal. Obviously in this situation, fewer people will be looking to travel, but when it’s the only option they really have, it’s still slightly surprising...

Is it just me who finds it odd that TUI seem to be offering very little to Cyprus for the upcoming winter when it (for now) is probably one of the only destinations they’ll actually be able to go to? Canaries flights seem to be scheduled almost as normal from most bases when I think most of us...

Feedback Request Re: Forum layout feedback...

As a younger user, I’d be inclined to agree with those above. In my opinion, this forum is actually very good in terms of functionality/layout and better than any others I tend to frequent.

I agree, it is all a bit confusing. So is it only Zante that the WG are targeting or all of Greece like the SG? The inconsistency between nations can be problematic at times but these are inevitable consequences of devolution. The United Kingdom is, in many areas, largely only really “united”...

Agreed, it appears Zante may have lost control of the situation slightly. Have the WG announced a Greek quarantine? The SG now have, effective 0400 Thursday. The UK Govt have not as of yet.

Marella Cruises normally base two ships at Palma port. One cruise begins on Tuesdays and the other on Saturdays. One of their ships has been retired (due to Covid). Therefore, if the cruises go ahead, I wouldn’t be surprised to see one of the Palma sailings dropped, which may apparently negate...

Agreed, BHX isn’t my local airport, but I think, for now, the best any of us can hope for is that all the airlines (and airports) will survive the next year or two in order to start rebuilding networks again in the mid-long term future.

Looks like back to 1x738 for now, but still a healthy offering. Hopefully it’ll all go ahead!

At the moment, it looks like very little change for CWL, which is good news. SSH is dropped from everywhere except LGW/MAN/BHX so that’s no surprise. It’s almost certain that things will change (possibly many times) before S21 though so everything should be taken with a pinch of salt. Sadly it...

Will LPA be going ahead? Looks like TUI have postponed all Spanish islands flights by at least a week (now showing w/b 17/08) which is, of course, understandable.

The flight operated last week so the outbound would have been empty, the inbound bringing home those already in Mallorca, confirmed by FR24 showing that the entire outbound was flown at 41,000 feet.

I’ve compiled a list of the planned TUI flights form EXT over the coming weeks, with flights commencing from Sunday 2nd August (DLM, ZTH and CFU only in first week). I have included Spanish flights in red, as it is, of course, rather uncertain whether or not these will operate; however, as there...

I had a quick check of the TUI website and these would appear to be the planned flights for CWL over the next few weeks (from 3rd August). TUI’s Spanish flights from all bases currently seem to be planned to start from Monday 10th August but this is, of course, uncertain so I have omitted...

I think the 4th is currently planned to be the first day of Canaries flights. But of course, this is very much subject to change. After checking the TUI flight timetable though, the CWL flight on the 4th is not showing (may be fully booked but I’d be surprised if that was the case). First...

I doubt it’ll be used elsewhere, schedules are understandably very thin this summer. A check of the website shows that they plan to operate EXT-TFS in October on Tuesdays (all 4 weeks) at 16:40 (HER moves to 06:00) and Fridays (2 weeks only) at 15:55 (CFU moves to 07:00).

They don’t even base any aircraft at LBA anymore. There are a handful of flights a week (mainly for cruises which must do well enough from LBA, makes sense as it’s the one thing Jet2 don’t do) operated either by TUI w-patterns or other airlines. The issue is not that it was a single-aircraft...
